Green Product Policy and Supply Chain Management

Our company’s hazardous substance management system meets the IECQ-QC080000 standard. Our policy for controlling environmentally regulated substances in our products is as follows:

  • We comply with domestic and international environmental regulations and meet customer needs for environmental management substances.
  • We continuously seek collaborations with suppliers who meet IECQ-QC080000 standards, and continuously improve green supply chain management.
  • We actively replace ecologically damaging substances in our product development and manufacturing processes, thereby lowering the impact of hazardous substances.
  • We provide on-job-training and information on legal and regulatory requirements to increase staff awareness of product environmental management chemicals and communicating this idea to customers and suppliers.

Our company has established a conflict minerals due diligence management process, conducting due diligence with suppliers to ensure that the responsible minerals they use come from qualified smelters. New suppliers must sign the “Conflict-Free Minerals Declaration” complying to Hon Young Semiconductor’s responsible minerals sourcing policy and provide qualified CMRT/EMRT reports. These reports identify the minerals and smelters in the supply chain, and the findings are regularly published on the Hon Young Semiconductor website.

According to the results of the 2024 study, 100% of the raw materials (Tungsten) used in our products are sourced from RMI-recognized smelters meeting the requirements for responsible minerals.
